Craft time!!




Spring Flower Pot


Supplies Needed:

Clay flower pot (any size)
Clay flower pot base
(the next size down from your pot)
Craft Paint -three coordinating colors and a white
Varnish- satin finish
Paintbrushes
Hot glue/gun
Artificial flowers/leafs

Directions:

Step 1: put the base coat of your colors on the pot and base (choose the darkest and the medium color). Let dry. * You may need a few coats of paint, depending on the colors.
Step 2: pencil sketch the shape of the flower desired on the front of the pot. Paint it however you like in the lightest color and white. Let dry.
Step 3: add any little details you desire on the base and on the rim of the pot. Let dry. *The base of the pot will be upside down in finished project.
Step 4: hot glue the pot to the base (have the base upside down) and then varnish entire piece. Let dry.
Step 5: add your artificial flowers or leafs and enjoy or give as a gift!

  1. I have been using vinegar for floors and windows and killing ants but now i will try it for other things. Great page good idea....
